Not as good as I expected it to be, with this album Drudkh are still wandering in Handful Of Stars territory, and it can get a little anti-climatic some times. Still, a good listen with Drudkh's characteristic style and great vocal performance. Recommended for Drudkh fans as well as any BM fan who wants something a little more on the tranquil side of things. If you are new to Drudkh, check out their earlier albums first, such as Autumn Aurora.

i do not like the chang ein style since their previous albums, microcosmos had the perfect mix of rock/atmospheric metal, this is a little too far in the wrong direction

LOVE IT . THIS IS A GROWER, CHECK IT OUT PEOPLE .

The name of the record refers to the eponymous song which was released on their debut record. This is a clear sign, that the band wants to go back to the roots and that
"A Handful of Stars" was a lackluster experiment to say the least. They still rely on short but intense records and so "Eternal Turn Of The Wheel" only features 36:06 minutes of playing time, which are devided on more or less four songs (plus one, if you want to count the intro). While "A Handful of Stars" was defined through the extensive use of post-metal influences, combined with some jazzy ones, "Eternal Turn Of The Wheel" is a
lot harsher and faster. Of course they still focus on atmosphere, despite the basic
orchestral fundament.
