OK so what we have here is quite possibly the greatest pagan-oriented black metal album to see the light of day in recent times. From start to end this is the stuff day-dreams are made of. I cannot recomment this enough!

I love Drudkh and this is a good album, but the accolades bestowed upon this release have always seemed excessive to me. I find it surprising that "Handful of Stars" was so poorly received (and justifiably so) when this album so poignantly alludes to the (mis)direction undertaken with its successor. Far from Drudkh's best.
