A very solid release and way ahead of it's time. Chaotic guitars and powerful drumming, alongside ihsahn's magic vocals, make this an album very worthy of getting.

For this slightly cleaner sound, this is perfection. I still prefer 'In the Nightside Eclipse' for that intangible quality of genius, but this is an outright masterpiece as well. Trym's drums are a real highlight on this album.
