Fortíð, one of Iceland's most prominent Black Metal bands, are set to release their fourth full length album, "Pagan Prophecies", on the 24th of August through German label Schwarzdorn Productions, who also handled the release of their last album "Völuspá Part III: Fall of the Ages".

The track list for "Pagan Prophecies" is as follows:

  1. Pagan Prophecies
  2. Spirit of the North
  3. Electric Horizon
  4. Lesser Sons of Greater Fathers
  5. Sun Turns Black
  6. Ad Handan
  7. Endalok

Fortíð was formed as a solo project by Einar "Eldur" Thorberg in 2002 in Kopavogur, Iceland, but in 2008 he moved to Oslo, Norway, where he remains to this day. Fortíð's first three albums form the Völuspá trilogy, consisting of "Völuspá Part I: Thor's Anger", Völuspá Part II: The Arrival of Fenris" and "Völuspá Part III: Fall of the Ages", each one featuring some great Pagan / Viking Black Metal.

Fortíð - Pagan Prophecies is available for pre-order from Amazon.com.

Interesting band!

Indeed. Eldur is also the man behind Curse, Sykdom and several other bands.
