Site statistics

Posted by Imperator on 17th January, 2013 @ 00:00 UTCBy Imperator on 17-01-2013 @ 00:00 UTC

We have added a new section with various statistics for the site's database, such as albums per country, average score per band, etc...

Today we have added a new Site Statistics section, gathering data from the current contents of our database.

Please note that all the statistics that appear there are automatically generated based entirely on the current contents of our database. While the formulas for representing the statistics themselves do obey the unchanging laws of mathematics, on the other hand the database itself does not contain every single album, band, or even country, and neither has the existing data been introduced in an intentionally balanced manner.

Click here to access the new database statistics.

This section can be accessed at any time from the main drop-down menu. The statistics are currently in BETA stage, as we intend to give each country, band and year their appropriate links, as well as potentially add even more types of statistics.
