The organizers of France's premier metal festival, Hellfest, have recently revealed their ambitious plans for next year's event. The 2022 edition of Hellfest, not only to celebrate the festival's 15th anniversary but also to make up for the fact that the 2020 and 2021 editions had to be cancelled, will span a total of seven days and feature over 350 bands.

The 2022 edition will be split in two halves, with the first half taking place on the 17th, 18th and 19th of June, while the second half will place over four days between the 23rd and 26th of June, serving as the "extension".

Literally Every Fucking Band will be there, including a plethora of Black Metal acts, such as Greece Rotting Christ, Norway Mayhem, Sweden Marduk, Norway Taake, Denmark Mercyful Fate, Sweden Watain, Ireland Primordial, Norway Abbath, Poland Mgła, Norway Gaahl's Wyrd, Norway Borknagar, Norway Arcturus, Finland Moonsorrow, Norway Kampfar, Norway Enslaved, Portugal Moonspell, Denmark Myrkur, Finland Archgoat, Norway Ihsahn, France Alcest and Norway Vreid, to name but a few.

German Thrash legends Germany Kreator and Germany Destruction, as well as Neofolk acts such as Norway Wardruna and Germany Heilung, will also be making an appearance.

Check out the complete line-up and approximate schedule (subject to change, of course) below:
