The Ukrainian Pagan Black Metal legends Ukraine Nokturnal Mortum have just announced a new full-length album. The new work will be titled "To Lunar Poetry", and will be based predominantly on the band's own material from their Lunar Poetry demo released back in 1996. This will be the 8th full-length of the Ukrainians.

According to what the band said on their official Facebook page and Instagram account, the album will also contain something extra, but they haven’t specified exactly what it is going to be.

More details will come soon.

This is great news! Nokturnal Mortum is my favorite black metal band of all time and I was wondering when they would be doing a new full length. I am not on social media, but I stumbled across this site and saw this piece of news and made an account now as a result. Thanks for sharing this, it is important for a fan to know so that I can watch Osmose for a vinyl pressing.

Very pleased to hear that a new Nokturnal Mortum album is on the cards.

Interesting that they're going to base the new album on material from 'Lunar Poetry'. The original 'Lunar Poetry' is an amazing release, and I'm curious to hear what they're planning to do in relation to it.

I can't say that I'm enthralled with the album title 'To Lunar Poetry', as it sort of disrupts the already perfect album name. Can't wait to hear the album.
