"Under Satan's Wrath" is the name of the new split EP that is scheduled for release on the 25th of March via Agonia Records.
Brazilian Black / Death Metal legends Mystifier are due to release a new split EP together with Greek Black Metal band
Lucifer's Child. The split, titled "Under Satan's Wrath", will feature three brand new tracks from each band, and is due for release on the 25th of March via Polish label Agonia Records. A few days ago Mystifier made one of their tracks, "Death Beyond Holy Creation", available for streaming online. Check it out:
Mystifier are true veterans of the scene, and one of the pioneering bands of Brazilian Black / Death Metal, forming back in 1989 and recently releasing their fifth full-length album. Lucifer's Child are a relatively new band by comparison, having formed in 2013 and with just two albums under their belt. However, they are not lacking in experience, featuring members from the likes of Rotting Christ,
Nightfall and
Serpent Noir in their founding line-up.
Lucifer's Child already premiered one of their own tracks from the split, "Satan's Wrath", back in December in lyric video format:
The complete tracklist for "Under Satan's Wrath" is as follows:
- Mystifier - Death Beyond Holy Creation
- Mystifier - Under Inhumane Evil Spell
- Mystifier - Worship Her (Samael cover)
- Lucifer's Child - Satan's Wrath
- Lucifer's Child - Nova Tenebris
- Lucifer's Child - Enter the Eternal Fire (Bathory cover)
Here's a closer look at the cover art, as designed by Australian artist Mitchell Nolte:
The split EP will be available in digital, digipack CD and 12" vinyl LP (in 5 different colors), along with some new t-shirt designs to mark the occasion.
