The song, titled "Poverty Hymn", is the closing track on the band's upcoming sixth full-length album, "Key to a Vanishing Future", scheduled for release on March 25th.
U.S. atmospheric Black Metal band Falls of Rauros are due to release a brand new album, titled "Key to a Vanishing Future", on the 25th of March via German label Eisenwald in Europe and Gilead Media in the US. While we wait, a brand new song, the album's closing track "Poverty Hymn", will be premiered later today via the Eisenwald YouTube channel in the form of a lyric video:
The album's opening track, "Clarity", was already made available last month:
Falls of Rauros were founded in Portland, Maine in 2005, taking their name from a waterfall in J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Lord of the Rings". "Key to a Vanishing Future" will mark the band's sixth full-length release, and features the following tracklist, clocking in at just under 44 minutes:
- Clarity
- Desert of Heart
- Survival Poem
- Known World Narrows
- Daggers in Floodlight
- Poverty Hymn
The artwork for the new album was designed by Austin Lunn, the mastermind behind one-man band Panopticon:
