Seattle-based Black / Death Metal experimentalists United States Hissing are preparing to release their latest full-length effort, titled "Hypervirulence Architecture", on the 15th of July via Profound Lore Records. While we wait, the album's closing track "Meltdown" is now available for listening through the label's YouTube channel, check it out:

The label commented briefly on the band's origins and style:

Founded in 2014 out of a mutual interest in mutilating sounds and exploring the outer limits of black and death metal, the group aims to desecrate expectations with each subsequent release.

Their new album “Hypervirulence Architecture”, which is their first album in four years following their “Permanent Destitution” debut LP, sees the trio take their sound into more nightmarish, trance inducing, mercurial and mind altering sonic dominions.

"Hypervirulence Architecture" features the following tracklist:

  1. Cells of Nonbeing
  2. Hostile Absurdity
  3. Operant Extinction
  4. Hypervirulence
  5. Intrusion
  6. Identical to Hunger
  7. Meltdown

The cover art was designed by Norwegian musician and artist Sindre Foss Skancke, also known as Utarm:
