Swedish Black / Thrash Metal veterans Sweden Witchery are getting ready to unleash their next full-length album, titled "Nightside", on the 22nd of July. The album will mark their eighth full-length record in a career spanning 25 years, and their first release of any kind since 2017's "I Am Legion". Leading up to the release, the album's opening track "Witching Hour" is now available for listening in music video format, check it out:

The label commented:

Masters of infernal metal since their inception 25 years ago, Swedish blackened Thrash Metal pioneers WITCHERY return with their 8th studio album “Nightside”. Consisting of Jensen (Guit., The Haunted), Rikard Rimfält (Guit., Seance), Angus Norder (Vox, Nekrokraft), Victor Brandt (Bass, Entombed A.D. / Dimmu Borgir) and Chris Barkensjö (Drums, LIK), WITCHERY have crafted a timeless horror story, set to some of the sharpest and spikiest metal anthems in recent memory. Once more mixed and produced with Daniel Bergstrand (Behemoth, In Flames, etc.) and featuring 11 tracks across 35 minutes, “Nightside” is heavy metal witchcraft at its best. The witching hour has arrived…

"Nightside" will feature a total of 11 tracks:

  1. Witching Hour
  2. Don't Burn the Witch
  3. Storm of the Unborn
  4. Er steht in Flammen
  5. Popecrusher
  6. Left Hand March
  7. Under the Altar
  8. Churchburner
  9. Crucifix and Candle
  10. A Forest of Burning Coffins
  11. Nightside

The artwork was designed by Swedish artist Andreas Pettersson, who has collaborated with Witchery for all album cover art since 2001:
