The album, titled "Gales of November", is due to drop on the 1st of November, and will mark the solo project's first release of any kind since 2013.

Bloodaxe reveal first album in almost 10 years

Canadian Viking Black Metal solo act Canada Bloodaxe have just revealed a brand new song, "I, Destroyer", which is taken from the project's upcoming album, "Gales of November", scheduled for release on November 1st via label One Eye Rising.

 


"Gales of November" was mixed and mastered by Tore Stjerna at the legendary Necromorbus Studios in Sweden, and will mark the project's first release of any kind in almost 10 years, following "For Those Who Hunt the Wounded Down" which was released in January 2013. It will be the fourth Bloodaxe full-length album overall, and features the following tracklist:

  1. I, Destroyer
  2. Waking the Fates
  3. Born to the Horns
  4. Sails of My Father
  5. Beneath the Sun (My Heart Did Sink)
  6. Thirst of the Tyrant
  7. Thus Wept the Sea Widow
  8. The Bridge Below
  9. Three Winters
  10. After the Rats Have Fled
  11. Waves of Ægir
