Legendary Norwegian Black Metal act Taake have recently revealed the details for the band's next album, which will be titled "Et Hav av Avstand" ("An Ocean of Distance") and is scheduled for release on the 1st of September through long-time partner Dark Essence Records.

"Et Hav av Avstand" will mark Taake's eighth studio album in a career spanning over 30 years. While we wait, the album's fourth and final track, "Et Uhyre av en Kniv", is now available for listening:

Norwegian Black Metal band Taake have just release a new compilation album, titled "Avvik", through Dark Essence Records.

The new compilation features the six collected tracks from the band's recent split albums with fellow Norwegians Whoredom Rife, Deathcult and Helheim released over the course of the last two years. In addition to these tracks, there also features an acoustic version of "Nattestid Ser Porten Vid I".
