The new song is titled "Nightfall", and is the opening track for the new album, titled "We Are the Apocalypse", and scheduled for release on the 18th of March via Century Media Records.

The legendary Swedish Black Metal band Dark Funeral revealed that they have just finish the recording of their new upcoming album. For now, the album remains untitled, but we now that he will be released through Century Media Records.

The band commented:

Guitarist David Parland, known for his extensive contributions to the Swedish Black Metal scene over the last 25 years, passed away last week at the age of 42.

Sadly, Swedish guitarist David Parland, also known by his stage name Blackmoon, passed away last week on the 19th of March at the age of 42, with the exact cause of death still pending confirmation. The news came from the Facebook profile of fellow Swedish guitarist and life-long friend Lord Ahriman, who co-founded Dark Funeral with David in 1993. He had this to say:
