Canadian Black Metal viking Bloodaxe has recently announced that a brand new album is in the works, titled "Bless the North Winds" and featuring 10 tracks of pounding Boreal Metal. The album will mark the band's fifth full-length album in a career spanning three decades, and is currently in the recording phase:



The album will be recorded and mixed at the famed Necromorbus Studios in Sweden, and will feature Polish session drummer Krzysztof Klingbein, who also contributed drums to the previous Bloodaxe album, "Gales of November".

On the 4th of October, Italian Black Metal solo project Nubivagant will be releasing their third studio album, which is titled "The Blame Dagger". The album will be released through Amor Fati Productions, with the opening track "Darkness Upon the Face of the Deep" now available for listening:
