Back in July, U.S. Symphonic Black Metal band Abigail Williams announced that they would be calling it a day and disbanding after completing one final tour of North America, and this actually made a lot of sense as the band had somehow managed to release a decent Black Metal album as opposed to the usual cheesy crap they are famous for. The album in question, titled "Becoming" and released back in January, stands out as one of the best Symphonic Black Metal albums to come out of the U.S. in recent years.

French Black Metal band Hell Militia will soon be releasing their next album, titled "Jacob's Ladder", on the 16th of November through French label Season of Mist after signing a deal with them earlier this year. Leading up to the album's release, the band has made the song "Jonah" available for streaming.

According to Season of Mist, Jacob's Ladder features a more dissonant sound and complex style of Black Metal in comparison to their previous works, bearing similarities to Deathspell Omega and Blut Aus Nord. A change in visual style is also apparent on the new album's cover art.

Belgian Pagan Black Metal band Theudho have recently made a music video for one of the songs of their latest album. The song is titled "Niðr ok Norðr", and is the fourth track off the album "When Ice Crowns the Earth" which was released back in January through Australian label Aurora Australis Records, marking the band's fourth full length.

Australian Black Metal band Crowned released their debut album on the 12th of October through Séance Records, and just recently the label made the whole album available for streaming online at their official Bandcamp profile.

Little is known about Crowned, other than them forming in 2010 by three musicians from Toowoomba in Queensland, Australia. Their only other release to date is a demo titled "Ainulindale" released in 2011.

It seems like Mexican Black Metal band Moonlight will finally be releasing their third full length album today, titled "Lucifer's Rising", through Brazilian label Impaled Records. It was initially expected to be released in July, but was postponed on several occasions.
