Well, I doubt you're perusing BBMA for such a lovely album, but look, here it is regardless.

In a Black Metal sense, there is something distinctly Russian about this album, absolutely, however alien it may sound. Having said that, this leans very heavily into Post-Rock territory full stop, nevermind the Post-Black.

It depends where you're at. If you're like me, and struggle to listen to anything else besides Black Metal because it altered your aesthetic standards so much, as it tends to do, then albums like this may be accessible breaths of fresh air for you. If you're a purist, you might loathe it.

Forgive the pretentious sentiment. It just is what it be.

Most 'Post' sounds like utter dogshit to me, but I dunno, this is nice.
